Whispering Abyss uses a H.P. Lovecraft-inspired setting. The action takes place in the United States on the territory of the state of Minnesota. Grace Havenshaud returns to her hometown to find out what happened to her mom. 10 years ago, in a town called Dulult, a woman was kidnapped by an unknown entity. Before her death, she managed to give her daughter a solar necklace. After that incident, the heroine was left frightened and lonely. Later, the girl grew up, armed herself with a pair of revolvers and went on a journey through the abyss to uncover the secrets of this settlement. She will have to fight the Wandering Eyes, Tendrils, Stalkers, Forgotten and other monsters. Each type of enemy requires a special approach. The plot and lore are revealed through the pages of the magazine. It fills up gradually as you progress.

Whispering Abyss is a top-down roguelike action game with three-dimensional Low-Poly graphics. The video game is divided into levels. Locations are regenerated with each new run.
