Torn Away

Torn Away is an interactive story based on authentic children's diaries of the war in Europe. Many of them became orphans without finding their relatives and were forced to work hard in labor camps to get at least some food and live the next day. The boundaries of their age were blurred, as each of them had to become old enough to endure the hardships of war alone.

The main character is an ordinary girl named Asya, who lives in one of the European towns during the period of the active German offensive. Familiar places have been reduced to rubble from bombing, and she doesn't even know where her parents might be or if they're even alive. She relies solely on the hope of meeting them one day, and for this she tries to survive in a new cruel world. She was one of those who was unlucky, because the Germans took her out of her native country as cheap labor for the Third Reich. The captured Ostarbeiters were forced to work in inhuman conditions, so the protagonist decides to escape.

Thorn Awey combines a deep story and elements of stealth adventure. The heroine will have to avoid dangers, hide from soldiers and hide from bombs flying from the sky. Whether she will be able to get out of this hellish cauldron depends only on the player and his actions. It is impossible to allow Asya to return to hard work, in the conditions of which she will not survive, which means that it is necessary to somehow leave the territory of Germany.
