Risk 2 - a digital version of the board game of the same name, introducing many new modes, including a single-player tournament and the conceptual SameTime, which invites all participants to play at the same time. Up to 8 people can participate in battles. Everyone chooses one of the famous generals of the 18th and 19th centuries: Campbell, Mackenzie, Marmont, Barbasena, D'Erlon, Marencin, Solignac, Sherbrooke and many others. When fighting against artificial intelligence, each leader uses their own unique attack style and individual strategy.

The gameplay uses the standard rules of the original Risk 2. It is based on the fact that you can perform a single attack from one place, but in the computer version, you can hit the enemy as many times as you want. The gameplay of Risk 2 is presented in real time. It is possible to control several armies, attacking from two different borders. Attacking 2 or more territories is called a "mass invasion". It is noteworthy that if two generals simultaneously attack a territory that cannot be repulsed, then the spoils of war are divided between the two attackers.

When entering combat mode, you can only move around the borders once. However, the Quick Attack feature is provided, which makes it possible to quickly transfer a certain number of soldiers to a neighboring territory. The mechanics of the game include rolling the dice. If three armies are used during the offensive, the player rolls three dice. If the attacking side includes more than 30 soldiers, the player receives black dice, an army of 5 or fewer units uses a white dice.
