Dark Blood

Dark Blood - is a pixelated platformer that tells the story of a knight named Athanas. His home village, called Valentina, was invaded by hordes of demons and caused irreparable destruction. The protagonist was absent at this time, but after learning of the terrible events, he returned to try and save people. But at that moment, he was not ready to fight such strong opponents and was forced to witness the death of his wife, Harley. After that, Athanas still managed to get out of the besieged village and dedicated his life to revenge.

The gameplay is generally linear, but the player can level up different skills. It is possible to develop evasion or healing, both of which work well in the later stages. But even with maximum leveling, you can't relax here. Some enemies and passive obstacles can kill instantly.

Unfortunately, Dark Blood is a classic case of an interesting idea with a poor implementation. The game consists entirely of standard assets, but even this is not the main problem. Inconvenient controls, non-obvious hitboxes and a lot of bugs spoil the experience and prevent you from focusing on the gameplay.
