Retool is a stealth action and top-down puzzle game. The title invites gamers to hack in three-dimensional space and sneak past opponents. Users can control their actions using a gamepad. Keyboard and mouse are also supported.

The campaign is divided into 20 large levels. To complete the stage, you need to get to the portal. In case of failure, the heroine does not die forever. Thanks to the cloning system, the deceased girl is replaced by a copy of her. In Retool, each enemy has its own range of vision. You can sneak up on adversaries and silently kill them from behind. You also have to hack computers and reconfigure electronics to remove obstacles from the way. It is possible to activate different traps and lure enemies into a deadly trap.

The project is made in a sci-fi setting. According to the plot, humanity waged a war with aliens for 43 years and lost it. The Onyx race was able to win at the cost of large-scale destruction on the home planet of Sinai and orbital stations. Aliens began to use slave labor to eliminate the consequences of the military conflict. The story is dedicated to Mary. A girl engineer was captured by her enemies, but managed to escape from her prison cell. She needs to find a way to leave the space base and return home.
