OddPlanet is a game with dark gloomy locations, imbued with an atmosphere of loneliness. The developers claim to have been inspired by Limbo and Oddworld. The emphasis is on beautifully drawn backgrounds, interesting creatures and a special musical accompaniment. The gamer controls a little girl who got out of an escape pod and found herself on an alien planet. The heroine sets out to explore an alien world, encountering various obstacles and rare enemies on her way. The storyline includes 3 episodes.

The walkthrough is accompanied by comments from the main character, who shares her thoughts and experiences. The gameplay is typical of an arcade game. The character is able to move back and forth, jump, cling to ledges, and interact with objects encountered along the way. Sometimes it can be difficult to control a wanderer - overestimating your strength, you can not jump to the right point and fall into the darkness. There are neutral NPCs along the way, but you can't start a conversation with them. The heroine is able to die by falling from a height. Even a small traveler can be overtaken by fast-running enemies. When you meet with aggressors, a quick reaction will come in handy, because you can't pause the game and think about the next actions.
