HYPERGUN is a whirlwind action first-person shooter from an independent development studio, using the mechanics of random environment generation. Thanks to this, each playthrough is as unique as possible. Plus, the weapon consists of removable modules that can be replaced and create interesting variations of 150 types of stocks, clips, sights, silencers, and so on. The plot of the game takes the player to the near future - to the year 2038. Humanity has fallen under the enslavement of an alien race of invaders with much more technologically advanced equipment at their disposal. It gives a huge advantage over humans, which is why there is very little chance of a long-term confrontation. There is still hope for the HYPERGUN program, a top-secret project to develop effective weapons against aliens from other worlds. The protagonist, a DevTech intern named Dewey Owens, decided to visit the lab on a weekend to test the firearm, as well as to get the recipe for the perfect configuration against hordes of enemies. The gameplay takes place in a simulation created to test firearms in practice. Running through arenas with monsters, destroying them along the way, Dewey will run into a giant boss. This happens at the end of each stage to get a full report on the lethality of the new gun configuration. Each time, there will be more and more enemies, and their damage will increase.
