Actions Hexplore unfold in the year 1000 on planet Earth. The player takes control of McBride, an adventurer. The walkthrough begins with 3 members joining the party: a sorcerer, a warrior and an archer. The main character's task is to get to the black magician Garkham and free his comrades, having previously killed the antagonist and his henchmen.

Each mission allows you to complete it with different compositions. The user can change his team and equip his wards in his own way. Most of the characters in the playthrough are not traversable. Each of them can be hired for any operation and removed before the start. The gameplay consists of 200 levels, including monster battles, puzzles, and map exploration. In multiplayer mode, there can be a maximum of 4 participants.

In the medieval world, the Master of Black Mages took possession of the Book of Hasplor, bringing the entire continent to the brink of destruction. In the Garden of Eden there is a Divine Power that can stop the power of the Book. Four powerful heroes team up to embark on an adventure to stop Garkham from carrying out his plans. Mage, Adventurer, Warrior, and Archer have unique abilities and a talent tree. The user is able to look around 360 degrees, observing the heroes from above.
