Terrorform is a retro first-person shooter. Its low-resolution graphics combine 2D and 3D. Weapons and regular enemies are sprite, and the locations and bosses themselves are three-dimensional. The indie title emulates the earliest representatives of the FPS genre from PC. Therefore, you can't look up or down here on purpose. You can only rotate the camera left and right, as well as walk in different directions. For the same reason, there is no sight. You have to shoot in a straight line. The selected weapon is located at the bottom of the screen in the middle, making it easier to aim. The arsenal includes a shotgun, a pistol, a laser, a revolver, a machine gun. The Firearm consumes ammo but does not require reloading. Ammo is lying around on locations and sometimes drops from killed enemies.

The game Terrorform has a campaign divided into 3 acts and 15 levels. It has three battles with the leaders. There is also a plot. Events take place in a test facility. You will have to play as a security guard. It was specially frozen and kept in case of emergencies. One day, such a case actually occurred. Scientists have released monsters from their laboratories. The main character wakes up from cryosleep and begins to exterminate these creatures. He is assisted by a technician named Art. The indie title also has a competitive mode.
