Dark Echo

Dark Echo is an atmospheric indie puzzle game that was originally developed for mobile devices, but due to its high popularity, the creators decided to re-release it on a personal computer with the addition of new stages. The game uses unusual puzzle building mechanics, which the gamer needs to solve. The space that the player observes on his own screen is devoid of light sources, and it is possible to navigate in such conditions only by ear. This will have to be done throughout all levels of the single-player campaign. The sound will create abstract images that need to be understood and found the way further through the locations. The source of the noise is the protagonist himself, who creates waves thanks to his movement in impenetrable darkness.

The project is positioned as a horror with an oppressive atmosphere, which is achieved thanks to the constant pursuit of a virtual protégé by unknown monsters that are otherworldly creatures. There is support for controlling a controlled character using a gamepad. Also, surround sound is implemented, which is maximally revealed when using headphones.
