The protagonist is also able to jump on the heads of enemies and throw bombs, which are canopic jars - vessels where the Egyptians kept the organs of the buried.

Enemies in Anubis II are a variety of phantasmagoric and mythical creatures. One of the main opponents is the evil pyramid spirits. They are somewhat reminiscent of an ordinary enemy from Mario - Gumbu. They are small walking mushrooms. Swarms of wasps and scarab beetles will be more dangerous opponents on your way, but a special type of enemy that will make you sweat are mummies. Every few levels, you will have to fight a boss.
