GUNBIRD 2

Gunbird 2 is a sequel to a top-down scrolling shooter popular in narrow circles. In the second part, it became possible to change the angle of the camera by 90 degrees, which turns a vertical slap into a horizontal one. It's an arcade port again. It can be played by two people from the same computer.

In Gunbird 2, 5 heroes are initially available (not counting the two secret ones):

• Marion is a young witch on a broomstick from the UK (the only character to carry over from the original)
• Alucard is a powerful vampire and the son of Dracula himself;
• Valpiro is a new flying robot, again built by Russia;
• Tavia is a nine-year-old German girl on a jetpack (she is related to Ash from the first game);
• Hei-Cob is an Arab guy in a turban who moves on a magic carpet.

The overall concept has not changed. Destroy adversaries, fight bosses, collect power-ups for your weapons. And when the opponents press, we use scarce bombs against them. The enemies are pirates again (though no longer heavenly, but royal). Only this time, they are commanded by Shark, Blade and Gimmick.

The steampunk setting has remained the same, but the story has changed. Now the adventurers are trying to find the lunar, stellar and solar elements. After that, the found items must be taken to the God of Potions, who will brew a special drink from them. Whoever drinks it will be healed and rob of magical abilities.
