ZEROED is an arcade and battle racing game. Competitions are held on starships. They fly over the surfaces of planets. Wawae, Imara, Frosinn, Te Ora differ in climatic conditions and slopes. There are 4 types of weapons in the game.

ZEROED's controls are designed for gamepads. However, it is also possible to control the vehicle using the keyboard. Before the first trip, the user is offered to undergo training. It is presented in the form of text and videos. If desired, this process is allowed to be skipped. You can race with bots. Online multiplayer is also available. It hosts regular races with other users and online tournaments.

The indie project has non-standard mechanics. It doesn't have gas and brake buttons. The ship moves on its own, but it slows down during turns and when hit by opponents' projectiles. You can turn on the boost for a short time, but it consumes energy. The higher it is, the higher the speed. To replenish its reserve, you need to get off that flight path, which allows you to shorten the path and switch to a less optimal path. These lines are displayed on the screen and are marked with different colors. There are no corridor tracks. Flights are carried out in open terrain over mountains, forests, roads and rivers.
