WarPlan simulates extensive battles during World War II. The developers have taken a responsible approach to creating playability and realism, which allows you to create fights down to the smallest detail. A flexible engine and a collected database will allow you to use weapons, equipment, types of warriors, battalions and equipment of that time. On expansive maps, you'll need to control and command units.

The gameplay features a huge scale. The player will get on the maps of 70 countries of the world, and will fight on a 50-kilometer hex map with the ability to scale the land. This will help you observe infantry, naval groups, and aircraft. All battles take place on land, and working points will allow you to use several moves and attack tactics to break through on the front line, attack from the air or sea.

The playing area is divided into numerous hexagons with 15 types of territory. Each of them has specific abilities, including airfield capacity, defensive bonuses, resource types, non-motorized movement, and more. Weather conditions, whether it is a storm, rain or strong wind, will affect the process, the movement of the warriors, their visibility and other small elements. The fog of war is revealed if wards reach a specific area. In the course of the passage, the user will achieve technological progress, unlock new combat vehicles and opportunities in tactics.
