Under Leaves is a representative of the "Hidden Object" genre. A small indie project invites you to search for various objects to the relaxing sounds of wild nature. There are quests in the game, but there is no text at all. Quest tasks are shown with the help of pictures and numbers. Only the mouse is involved in the control. The title is suitable for people of all ages.

There are 29 animated animals in Under Leaves. Each animal asks the user to perform some task for him. For example: a piglet wants the gamer to find a fixed number of acorns for him (usually 7-13 pieces). Other inhabitants of biomes may ask you to find a certain plant, slimes, and so on. To find out the purpose of the mission, you need to click on the question mark above the creature's head. It can be difficult to see the objects you want, as they often blend into the background. Therefore, the creators have added a hint system. A full playthrough can take about one hour.

The title has 9 types of locations located in different parts of the world. The choice of levels (there are about 20 of them in total) takes place on the global map.
