A gloomy setting in UNDEMON immerses you in the adventures of a virgin ghost wandering between the worlds of the living and the dead, trying to find peace. The project is filled with a recognizable style for arcade 2D platformers, referring to classic video games of the 90s. Gameplay mechanics allow you to control a wandering spirit that remembers nothing and tries to find a way to rest. The character is able to move in two-dimensional space, jumping over obstacles and hiding from enemies. The player will be able to stun some enemies or pass through bodies using special abilities.

Traveling through the underworlds in UNDEMON allows you to freely explore locations, solving incoming puzzles or overcoming terrain obstacles. Enemies will actively roam the map, wanting to destroy the soul. You can use stun shots to quickly run through and evade pursuit. Due to the fact that the awakened spirit is too young and weak, the observation range is short and the heroine notices only nearby creatures. As you pass, you will improve your skill and increase the strength of the protagonist, who seeks to solve a mysterious trap that does not allow you to remember anything about your past life. Over time, new skills will begin to emerge that allow you to effectively resist the dangers of the afterlife, such as flying or extended hiding time from prying eyes.
