Totem

Totem is a puzzle platformer with a first-person perspective. The game has a simple premise, but the plot itself is unusual. The protagonist falls into the abandoned catacombs. This place turned out to be a prison for the god of destruction. He contacts the hero and offers him a deal: the main character frees the creature, and in return receives a portion of its divine power, which will help it get to the surface. The story is presented with humor.

Totem has been in a playable prototype state for a long time. Therefore, there is not much content in it. The current version of the indie project can be completed in 15 minutes. The W, A, S, D buttons are for moving the hero, and the space bar is for jumping. By pressing the left and right mouse buttons, respectively, the character creates void or formation totems. They allow you to select objects and project them in the desired location. But this can only be done on a luminous surface.

The skills received from the deity allow you to create platforms to overcome obstacles and get into those areas where an ordinary person would not be able to reach on his own. Gradually, new mechanics are introduced into the gameplay (for example, games with gravity), and the puzzles become more difficult. During the journey through the underground temple, the hero constantly communicates with his new patron. Comical situations often arise between them. Both characters are voiced.
