TOGUM is a third-person role-playing adventure that uses slasher combat mechanics filled with combos and a variety of weapons that have their pros and cons. The setting of the single-player campaign is Brazil in the near alternative future, which turned out to be tragic for the locals. In the laboratory, some experiments were carried out on genetic material, which got out of control and gave rise to a new species called "TOGUM". The race is an incredibly aggressive lifeform, killing anyone else in sight in a matter of seconds.

The user is entrusted with the role of a marshal named Dante Masamune, who, due to strange circumstances, became the first hybrid of a human and a togum. He has received superpowers that are inherent in an unprecedented race, which must be used to restore peace in the territory of Brazil. Together with the virtual protégé, there are always his faithful childhood friends - Nicole and Danielle.

The non-linear plot of the single-player campaign provides a chance for the gamer to independently choose the path along which further events will go, leading to a unique ending.
