The Shivah

The Shivah - a noir quest about Russell Stone, a Jewish rabbi who runs a small synagogue in New York. Russell is a very devout man, but membership in his congregation is dwindling and he needs to get as much money as possible to keep the synagogue alive.

Things get worse every day, and over time, he turns into a cruel and cynical person. The case takes on new colors after a member of his community dies. He bequeaths Russell a huge sum of money. Benediction? Or someone's sinister plan? My conscience says no, but at the same time, the situation demands accepting the money. Travel through Manhattan and make tough moral decisions. Unravel the mysterious tangle of events that awaits you as you progress through The Shivah campaign.

The gameplay is an intense point-n-click journey in which you move through various locations, interact with numerous characters, and solve a huge number of puzzles. You'll find a variety of rabbinic dialogues and traditions to help you become more familiar with Jewish culture, religion, and principles. There are action scenes, where there is a unique combat system for adventure quests and three different endings depending on the actions performed.
