The Hero

The Hero is an open-world action-adventure game with two parallel storylines set in different eras.

The first story takes place on the streets of New York City, which in The Hero has taken on a surprisingly dark atmosphere. The once noisy, crowded city has become a place for showdowns and real wars between criminal gangs that have managed to seize control of government organizations. Now the bandit leaders are demanding that the rest of the world recognize New York as a separate country in which chaos and anarchy will reign.

The protagonist is a young man named John Matt, whose wife became an accidental victim during a gang shootout. Now he is trying not only to avenge her death, but also to restore peace to his hometown. He will be "helped" by his far-distant ancestor, for whom the user will also have to play.

The second playable character is Jack Papesto, a British citizen who lived in London in 1802. He was a peacemaker who tried to prevent the Egyptian campaign along with others who were not afraid to rise up against injustice.
