The Botanist

The Botanist is a three-dimensional platformer that tells the story of a mushroom boy, Bob, who is obsessed with nature and the exploration of plants and fungi. He is in a fictional dimension where he is trying to collect the largest amount of flora he is interested in. The plot begins in a small settlement, on a peaceful planet, in Bob's dream. He spent a long time collecting samples for his next project, but his work was stolen by roots controlled by the Green Queen of the Dark Forest.

All his efforts were scattered across the Broken Isles, floating in the air earthy locations, turning his hope into his worst nightmare. Bob enters a parallel dimension where he will face his big fears. The gameplay has two modes of passage. The first one is for those who don't like to rush, but just enjoy the passage and explore every corner of the environment. The second mode provides a tough and hardcore path that will need to be completed in the least amount of time.

At one point, the central character will meet a new friend, a man who helps in battles with mushrooms and hidden traps. He is the only character who can help you wake up from the nightmare. Bob will have to find everything that was scattered from his basket in order to resume work on the project. You need to make it before the sun appears, otherwise all will be lost, as the protagonist will wake up and never get to his samples.
