Stars Cool Toys repeats the plot of the book by Russian science fiction writer Sergei Lukyanenko about traveling in space. The game is a mixture of dynamic action and strategy, in which you need to build your route so that the mission is crowned with success. A race of Geometers, exploring the space of the universe, unexpectedly stumbled upon a phenomenon unknown to them. It looked like a strange shapeless gate, from which robots periodically flew out, destroying everyone who crossed the territory of this something. The best pilots died in this place trying to solve the mystery. Determined to keep the losses to a minimum, the Geometers assembled a special research team and tasked it with studying a phenomenon called the Shadow. The protagonist is Nick Riemer, an excellent pilot from the planet Homeland, who turns out to be the only one who can help scientists go to the mysterious Sector 7 and start conducting their research. He has no idea what exactly they will encounter there, but the rumors of missing ships and dying soldiers there do not make him happy at all.

The dark and closed protagonist of Stars Cold Toys will have to get up close and personal with the new crew members and learn their stories. Gradually, in the course of the story, the hero himself will be revealed, giving out information about himself in dialogues. The game gives few hints, allowing you to feel like a real researcher who must make all the measurements and the necessary collection of materials, independently thinking through his actions.
