Soul at Stake

Soul at Stake is a multiplayer horror action game with asymmetrical gameplay. In the project, first-person view. It is designed for 5 users: one player plays as a demon and all the others play as humans. The infernal creature tries to kill all the members of the group one by one, and they, in turn, try to escape from the level.

To be saved, members of the human race need to find cards and activate them on altar pillars. The camera controls in Soul at Stake are specific. Its rotation is difficult when running, and when performing actions such as healing a teammate, this function becomes unavailable altogether. The plot tells about a certain ghostly creature Xi'E, who drives his victims into a trap, unleashes evil spirits on them and forces them to participate in the game. There is only one stake in this bloody competition – people's souls.

The title is an Asian version of Dead by Daylight. It contains analogues of maniacs. There are zombies, a dead bride, a prince and others. They move slower than humans. On the other hand, these demons can teleport to any altar. All characters differ from each other by the presence of one unique ability. There are shops on the locations. They can be used to buy regular cards, which are necessary to seal shrines and banish demonic creatures, as well as upgraded cards, which unlock additional skills or useful items for the duration of the match.
