The gameplay starts with a small piece of land, gradually stepping inland, recruiting troops and vassals. Upon reaching a certain number of subordinates, you can challenge the Shogun. After winning, the player's feudal lord begins to control the territory. The auxiliary ninja army is represented in the form of a clan. The game supports the policy of governing an entire family and dynasty. Sengoku is built on the principle of recruiting vassals through military conflict or diplomacy. You can have wives and appoint children as heirs and distribute the lands under your control to them. Having figured out the financial and economic parts of the game, we begin to invest in the army and make a new seizure of territory.
