Rotastic builds its entire gameplay on swing mechanics. The character moves in the air thanks to the rotation. The player's task is to collect all the jewels on the screen before the time runs out, and then throw his protégé into the portal that appears in the corner. At the same time, it is important not to fall into the abyss and not to fall on the circular saws.

The character is controlled by the mouse. In Rotastic, there are literally two button controls: the left key allows you to hook and unhook, and the right one is responsible for the direction of rotation. At the end of the stage, the final score of points is displayed and the rating is calculated based on it. Performing acrobatic tricks allows you to increase it. You can earn a bronze, silver, and gold helmet (similar to medals). More difficult levels are unlocked as you collect the right number of gems.
