REDCON is a strategic military simulator that uses a camera that is located on the side and colorful special effects to create a memorable picture. The events are set in the distant future in an alternate universe. The main difference between this world and reality is the fact that the First World War did not end, and since then planet Earth has been constantly living in an atmosphere of horror due to devastation and deaths from cartridges and missiles, which happen quite often. The population of the human race has been significantly reduced, resulting in the fact that land plots have turned into wastelands, where there is not a single living soul.

Gamers fight for a reason. For the accurate completion of the tasks, the player receives rewards, as well as the final score after the successful completion of the level. The results are entered into a special leaderboard for a correspondence competition between users and the identification of the strongest commander.

The story campaign tells the story of hostilities between the Empire and a general who betrayed his brethren named Kranz. The antagonist of the REDCON project has created his own state, Hooks. The gamer gets the role of the Commander - the leader of the army subordinate to the emperor.
