The game combines a racing simulator and a first-person shooter, and the character will not only fight off the infected in the open world, but also build his character, his own car, as well as ride in the open world, collect items and complete side quests. All the construction of your car takes place either in a garage in any city, or at the nearest rescue station for survivors. The gameplay of RAGE is divided into two parts - racing and shooter. A simple passage of the game consists of two parts: a race in a closed location, for which we receive points and certificates to improve our car. When upgrading a character or car, the player has access to rare, simple, strategic, and elite uniforms. To equip a new gun on a vehicle, you must level it up. If you want to level up your own armor, then the character must "know how to wear it". The game's physics are more detailed than in most modern shooters. All races take place from a third-person perspective and are the same shooter. In a closed location, we must not only be the first to arrive, but also destroy the enemy's vehicles. Enemies are more likely to collide on the same track than simple characters from the game, so the more enemies you kill, the less difficult it will be in the story campaign.
