Movement around the scientific complex will be carried out with the help of a special hand-held device that opens small portals - passages between the space. Artificial intelligence will put spokes in the wheels of the main character, in every possible way preventing her from achieving her goal - to stop GLaDOS forever. Whether it succeeds this time, or the AI will now be triumphant, depends on the player's actions.

Valve's director, Gabe Newell, called Portal 2 the best game of all time. Despite the fact that the graphics are not far ahead compared to the original part, the excellent physics does its job, presenting the player with an interactive semi-open world.
