Polyroll is an indie platformer and side-scroller that takes the player on a wondrous adventure through a variety of locations and territories. The camera is on the side, which is typical for this genre and is the most convenient option for creating an exciting level design that does not allow you to tear yourself away from the gameplay. The antagonist of the project is a Kaiser (German title of monarch) named Kiwi. He grabbed the protagonist's friends and kidnapped them. Now they are held captive in the Cold Castle, where the protagonist goes to help out his loved ones. Each location of 36 levels of the single-player campaign is made in a unique style. This allows us to understand that the plot does not stand still and moves towards the final skirmish with the Kaiser. Treasures, traps, and obstacles are hidden around every corner, while crowds of monsters and over 10 giant bosses with a creative look and many attacks of their own are swarming around. For example, a traffic light, a household appliance, or a spider stuck in a tree. The stages are reminiscent of the retro classics of the last century and give a feeling of nostalgia for old games. The entire walkthrough will take from 4 to 10 hours, depending on the level of training of each individual gamer.

The main ability of the hero is the ability to fold into a smooth ball. It can bounce off surfaces, ricochet, spin and bounce to complete difficult puzzles and further explore the Polyroll universe.
