PEOPLEDOWN is a bloody top-down action game. It has a dismemberment. There is no plot as such. An assassin was chosen as the protagonist. His task is to destroy all the people on the map. The arsenal includes many types of melee and ranged weapons. There is a revolver, a shotgun, a minigun, a stun gun, a katana, a knife, a rocket launcher, a shuriken, a flamethrower, an assault rifle. There are also unusual items that can also be used to kill enemies. For example: a mop, a water gun, an erotic book.

The gameplay is reminiscent of Hotline Miami. The anti-hero bursts into the premises and attacks enemies using the surprise effect. He dies with a single blow or bullet, and so do enemies. You can knock back and stun enemies who stand near closed doors. PEOPLEDOWN even has masks. And here they work in a similar way: they give initial weapons, slightly change modifiers, etc. P.

There are 5 locations in the indie project: House, Bank, Office, Gang, Factory. Unlike HM, here the character does not fight the police or bandits. Enemies are represented by office workers, ordinary security guards and employees of enterprises. Some of them try to attack the killer, while others raise their hands and surrender.
