The action takes place in the state of Louisiana. Most of the cities were flooded by the tsunami, and the areas turned into eternal swamps. On a small piece of land, the survivors are located. Despite the catastrophes, technological progress has not stopped, and special androids that are very similar to ordinary humans are widely used everywhere. The protagonist is a simple local resident who lost his brother. He disappeared and cut off all contact immediately after the death of his mother, which seemed very strange to the protagonist, because he always shared his experiences and put his family first. He begins his own investigation, which leads him to New Orleans. There, he encounters a fugitive robot security guard who has regained consciousness and is willing to help in the search in exchange for being rescued.

Norco is made in the style of Southern Gothic and reveals the stories of ordinary people with their own experiences and difficulties. All the key characters who help the protagonist in his search have a bright and interesting past, which will be revealed to the user if he becomes close enough to them. Most of the narrative is conveyed through dialogues and notes, so you shouldn't expect much dynamics and action from the game.
