Lumina is a first-person indie puzzle game inspired by the works of the great Lovecraft. The time of action will be the 20s of the last century. There is only a single-player campaign option without the ability to play in the company of friends. The story will unfold throughout all 18 levels available for the gamer to explore. Each stage will increase the difficulty of the presented puzzles, which are based on the same mechanic - the passage of a laser beam from one point to another using a system of mirrors, which must be placed in the correct order to move further through the locations.

The plot tells the story of an archaeologist who found himself in a large, abandoned pyramid of Ka-Nefer in the middle of the desert. Having set up his own tent near it, the protagonist enters to study the structure, but after a while he realizes that he has fallen into a trap and does not understand how to extricate himself from this unpleasant situation. Gradually, the gamer will discover the terrible secrets of this place, motivating him to explore further.

The goal will be to open a huge gate with a laser beam that needs to be redirected, separated and combined with different positions of mirrors and prisms. This is quite a difficult task, and as you pass obstacles and moving objects, there will be more and more. The story ends with one of two endings, which will depend on the player's actions. In addition to the beam puzzles, the pyramid is fraught with many other dangers in the form of traps, cliffs, and scorpion-like opponents.
