Loot River takes the player to the atmosphere of dark fantasy, where dungeons, real-time battles and roguelike elements are implemented. Here, the user explores ancient ruins, upgrades their character, and fights monsters that actually emerge from the darkness. The game is characterized by a hand-drawn virtual universe, which is made in the style of pixel art with the use of elaborate animations and three-dimensional elements.

The gamer is waiting for a dangerous adventure through procedurally generated levels, where he enters into battles in real time. It is possible to move different objects located on the levels, which allows, for example, to remove the ground from under the enemy's feet, along the way solving the proposed riddles. As you progress, you will encounter different monsters, bosses, and just characters who have lost their way. Also, the user finds various weapons and equipment. In the process, the hero unlocks new abilities, finds items and additional types of weapons.
