Lamp Chronicle is a cozy fairy tale packaged as a two-dimensional platformer with a well-drawn background and touching animation: here the character, who decided to eat on the way, does not swallow food like a duck, but chews diligently, and, jumping over abysses or from ledge to ledge, funnily sits his legs in the air. It's a pleasure to watch his adventures in a kingdom engulfed in dark chaos. A couple of buttons are enough to control it - there are no complex combined attacks in Lamp Chronicle, but there are other obvious charms: a large map with many locations to explore and solve puzzles; a teleporter controlled by a girl named Lucy, which can be used to travel quickly; Trader Wyndon's shop, which supplies provisions, and a rune menu where you can create magic spells that deal different damage to opponents.

The hero's name is Luca – he is a brave blond boy who escaped in a day of general turmoil, when evil reigned in the world. He managed to obtain a magic lamp filled with light, and he decided to take a chance, embarking on a liberation expedition to the depths of darkness to destroy the abomination that had enslaved the beautiful lands. The lamp is charged with the energy of liberated souls, which the little knight shakes out of skeletons, ghouls and other monsters that occupy his homeland, and, when filled, is able to release a powerful charge that destroys the undead around him. There are two types of bosses: intermediate, but very formidable, it should be noted, and level colossi.
