The protagonist, Carl Faubert, is a private detective who arrives at the first call of Mr. Hamilton, a wealthy industrialist who has encountered vandalism on his territory for several times.

When we arrive at the checkpoint, we realize that we have been deceived. Hamilton is nowhere to be found, and the common people have suddenly disappeared somewhere. We will notice the conditions of northern life in the houses. Most of the items will have to be taken with you to survive the storm, but everything will be in short supply.
