Jude can be categorized as a platformer. The game is made in 2.5D. It has three-dimensional graphics, but the camera is located on the side. The indie title has a non-standard premise. The protagonist of Jude looks like a humanoid animal or a toy that has come to life. Outwardly, it resembles a cartoon hybrid of a mouse and a dog. The character can run left and right, jump, and partially interact with the environment. For example: activate switches. He walks through a dark area with a flashlight. The creature dies from a couple of touches on enemies. You can't fight them. So it's better to avoid enemies, otherwise you'll have to go through the entire level again (there are no checkpoints here). The health bar can be restored by finding a health kit. Water and traps kill with one touch.

The title is divided into levels. To complete the stage, you need to collect all the keys (their number is displayed in the upper left corner of the screen), and then find the large doors and open them.
