IS Defense – Rail first-person shooter. This genre of the project from indie developers implies that there is no need to move in space, the game will independently move the main character to the right points. The user only has to control the camera, aim, and conduct aimed fire at numerous enemy targets that are both on the ground and in the air. The setting is an alternate 2020, in which the actions of the ISIS group have become more extensive, and aimed at taking over other countries through armed conflicts.

The player will have to take personal control of a NATO fighter, which is located behind a stationary machine gun installed on the surface, or on ground vehicles. For completing each level of the single-player campaign, special points are awarded, which reflect the degree of success of the operation. These results are to be published on the leaderboard, which stores the data of many players from all over the globe.

All the presented missions take place on the territory of Europe, which is subjected to full-scale attacks by the Islamist terrorist group from the Mediterranean Sea. In addition to the stationary machine gun, the main character has a grenade launcher at his disposal, which helps to eliminate opponents in a small area, and the ability to call for air support.
