Ignite is an arcade racing game. The title differs from other representatives of the genre by the point system. They are awarded for drifting and other stunts. Once a rider reaches 1000 points, they can exchange them for nitro boost or extra seconds. The first method allows you to increase the speed for a short time, and the second one increases the final result. Careless driving is punished with fines, which lower the score.

Ignite races are timed. Victory can be achieved in two ways: to arrive at the finish line first or to "wind" a timer for yourself, pouring points into it. There are trips with bots and multiplayer, which supports the participation of 5 people. Also available is a campaign. It is a set of 35 events in 7 locations. By passing them, gamers get access to new events and cars. Cars are divided into 3 types: muscle cars, sports cars, and street racing cars. They can be broken, but the damage is only cosmetic. The control and operation of the engine are not affected by accidents. There are no licensed models in the fleet. However, all of them are outwardly similar to real vehicles of popular brands.

There are three types of competitions available:

• Race Mode – a classic fight for the first place;
• Knock-Out – a loop race, where the last participant is eliminated on each lap;
• Run-Out – the riders' points gradually decrease, and the one whose meter drops to zero before the others loses.
