Ib - an adventure video game with psychological horror elements, released by Japanese artist Kouri. The plot revolves around a young heroine named Ib, who is taken by her mother and father to the Gertena Weiss Art Museum. With his parents' permission, Ib leaves them. She begins to look at a mysterious painting, after which the power goes out and the museum suddenly empties, its doors locked before the girl can leave.

Once trapped, Ib finds and joins forces with two other lost characters: Harry, a quiet young man dressed in tattered clothes who becomes Ib's protector and nurturer, and Mary, a mischievous, eccentric girl about the same age as the heroine. Throughout the gameplay, the characters try to escape from the art gallery, along the way facing numerous puzzles, animated sculptures, and monstrous killer paintings.

The gameplay of the game is a two-dimensional space where the player moves the character by interacting with various objects and exploring them. Obstacles come in the form of blocked paths that the player must somehow overcome and cross, as well as enemies and traps that drain the player's character's health.
