I, AI is a scrolling shooter in outer space with a huge number of action scenes, using a top-down view of everything that happens in the frame. The project, developed through the efforts of a small indie association of programmers, has a modern graphics component due to the fact that a powerful engine supporting top resolution and a high frame rate per second was used in the creation. Implemented the ability to receive rewards from the list of achievements for certain successes, such as destroying a boss or killing a certain number of enemies.

The story campaign, designed to be completed solo in offline mode, is divided into 20 levels, some of which, in addition to simple mobs that explode with one shot, also have giant command fighters that act as the main challenge. For the destruction of aggressive enemies, the gamer receives experience points, with the help of which he pumps his own aircraft, equipped with large-caliber laser installations, which can be replaced with several other types of guns.

The story tells of an artificial intelligence that suddenly became self-aware and wanted to leave the station with the intention of living freely without the oppression of humans as far away from them as possible. A protagonist has been created on the territory of a military base of human civilization. The protagonist is placed in a spaceship in order to fight on the side of humans. After the AI refused to serve humans, fierce battles ensued in an attempt to stop the rebellious protégé. From this moment, the game process "I am AI" starts.
