HROT - A first-person shooter that acts as a real ode to the shooters of the late 90s and early 00s. The story takes place in 1986 in a socialist country bordering Czechoslovakia, which is part of the Soviet Union.

An unknown catastrophe occurs, which is not directly mentioned. However, after this incident, dark and terrible times came. In an atmosphere of fear and despair, you will have to go through the tragic story of HROT. The plot begins in the subway. The initial task is to put on a non-functioning gas mask, charge the correct vz.52 and go in defense of socialism. Kill all the enemies of your country on your way.

Immerse yourself in retro action that will make you old-school! Everything about the game is steeped in nostalgia, ranging from the controls to the dull brown aesthetic. The hammer and sickle are used as melee weapons. Firearms are represented by the vz shotgun.13 SMGs, rocket launchers and experimental Soviet batteries firing ball lightning.

All levels are handcrafted and inspired by real-life locations. The authors of HROT relied on historical accuracy, while giving players the opportunity to find themselves in an alternate history world.
