Home Wars combines genre features of action, shooter and sandbox. The goal of the game is simple - to prevent the enemy from capturing the disputed territories and regaining the lands captured by the enemy earlier. But hordes of beetles and cockroaches act as invaders, toy soldiers fight in a valiant army of defenders, and large-scale battlefields are located in separate rooms of a single house.

But the threat should not be underestimated: insects are constantly evolving, accumulating food reserves and improving their strategic facilities (Nests), where they prepare new war beetles.

Despite the obvious humorous nature of the game, Home Wars is a serious project that offers a real military campaign against bugs. There are two modes in the game: tactical, in which you need to command subordinates (from controlling the general staff, purchasing military equipment and spying on the enemy) and combat. In the latter, it is possible to switch to a first-person view and participate in the battle as an ordinary soldier.

The player has access not only to the development of the technical equipment of his base, but also to research new military technologies due to the accumulated experience.
