Heretic - HeXeReTiC Fantasy

Heretic - HeXeReTiC Fantasy is an addon with a randomizer of GZDoom and LZDoom, used to change the default maps in the project, but with the condition that there will be no global changes. Basic elements in the gameplay have been replaced here: movement mechanics, types and number of monsters, weapons, some objects on the maps, and much more. Existing mods were taken as a basis, and the developer added some improvements and special features.

The player will encounter improved visual special effects and reworked sounds in general. Random spawners of enemies and collectibles have been created on the maps: weapons, supplies, and artifacts. In this add-on, the central character Corvus III is able to gain more health and ammo, as well as jump higher and run faster. The protagonist has become more agile and powerful than in the original version. Added 8 difficulty levels for each gamer. Can be chosen from a simple Apprentice to a hardcore Supreme Spell Master.

Innovations presented in the mod:

• Each cannon now has its own alternate firing mode.
• Using a magic tome of power, the user gets a more powerful version of the weapon.
• Medium-sized ammo boxes (previously only small).
• Lots of enemies and monsters, mostly coming from the Hexen universe.
• The bestiary has been at least 2x larger, and the stats of pre-existing opponents have been changed.
• Collectibles & Artifacts. The character is able to find a new type of shield, a crystal vial and a regeneration elixir.
