HellEscape

HellEscape is a two-dimensional and pixelated action roguelike with a top-down view (the camera is positioned slightly at an angle). It has elements of the Bullet Hell genre. In this game, you can't aim and shoot manually. The character does it himself. His projectiles depend on the artifacts he currently has, of which there are 26 varieties. There are 36 tasks in the indie game. They are evenly distributed in 6 stages. In these missions, you are asked to hold out for a certain amount of time, kill a boss, destroy a certain number of enemies, and so on. As a reward for this, they give gold. Money is spent on permanent leveling between races. A total of 114 upgrades can be purchased. They're increasing speed, max health, and stuff like that. Initially, only one map is available. The rest are unlocked when certain conditions are met.

The name of the project can be translated as Escape from Hell. Like many auto-fire roguelikes, this title was inspired by the acclaimed game Vampire Survivors. The spiritual heir differs from the original in the medieval-fantasy setting, characters, and the ability to make a dash. There are 13 heroes to choose from. Among them, there are standard adventurers such as knights, mages, rangers, thieves, as well as exotic creatures. For example: snowman. Enemies are not only bats and undead. There are goblins, trolls, dragons and other fairy-tale creatures. They can be viewed in the bestiary in the main menu. In total, there are about 50 types of opponents. Gameplay is familiar to the genre. The chosen unit runs around the arena, kills monsters and collects experience orbs that drop from them. Each time he levels up, he is allowed to pick up a new weapon or useful item, or upgrade his current equipment. Things come into synergy with each other and allow you to build builds.
