Hatch (2019) is a climbing simulator and part-time adventure. In this game, you need to do a lot of parkour and rock climbing. The indie project uses low-poly graphics, stylized as the first three-dimensional hits from old consoles, and a first-person view. It takes an average of 30 to 60 minutes to complete it. However, it all depends on the skills of users.

There is no plot as such in the title. Hatch simply shows how a humanoid is born from an egg, after which the gameplay begins. This creature is to be controlled. The W, A, S, D buttons are for moving, the Shift and "space" buttons are for running and jumping. When the R key is pressed, the character will respawn at the nearest checkpoint. The camera is controlled with the mouse. The objective of the game is to climb to the top of the tower.

The protagonist is only able to cling to walls that have at least a minimally obtuse angle. The hero moves on sheer surfaces by jumping or walking. The developers tried to convey the feeling that a person feels when he climbs a rock and reaches the appointed goal in the end. The gameplay here is complex. The main character will often fall from great heights and die. When he dies, he spawns at control points. The gameplay is built around only one mechanic. There are no enemies and puzzles.
