HackyZack is an attempt to turn football into a puzzle platformer, which is challenging. The game consists of 100 levels that fit within one screen. They are divided into 6 worlds. All subsequent biomes increase the difficulty and introduce new mechanics. The goal of each stage is to score a goal against a yellow goal. It can take many attempts to achieve it.

You can kick or hit a ball with your head in 8 directions. The dotted line helps to determine the distance from which it is allowed to strike. At the same time, the game allows you to control a boy named Zack. The protagonist is able to walk and jump. In HackyZack, there are balls with different properties. They make it possible to break certain blocks, make other doppelgänger balls repeat their flight trajectory, activate switches, use teleporters, etc. P.

With the help of the ball, you need to collect stickers scattered in hard-to-reach places, giving power-ups. There are a total of 55 of these collectibles in the game. The young football player is not the only playable character. There is an opportunity to unlock 7 more heroes. In addition to the main campaign, there is a mode where you are offered to collect all the yellow diamonds before the timer runs out.
