Global Operations is a tactical three-dimensional shooter that provides the gamer with first-person gameplay. The project was released on a popular engine at the time called "Lithtech 2.4", which has been used to create many bestsellers, such as "Medal of Honor". Battles take place on huge maps, a total of 13 of them were designed, all of which were used for both single-player missions and multiplayer warfare using an Internet connection. Among the vast arsenal, there was a place for one cold weapon - a knife, and several types of explosive devices, the rest of the murder weapons - firearms, such as pistols and machine guns. There is a division into 6 classes, differing from each other in movement speed and the ability to wear different types of armor to choose from (light, medium, heavy): Heavy, Commando, Demoman, Sniper, Medic and Scout.

Solo missions are separate operations that are not connected by a storyline. The enemies in them are well-trained bots controlled by artificial intelligence, which can use various tactical moves to win. The purchase of temporary upgrades (stronger weapons, ammo, or armor plates) for one battle occurs for dollars, which are accumulated for eliminating enemies or for healing allies.
