FLAMBERGE is a tactical RPG adventure with a lot of freedom of action and plot twists over the course of a single-player campaign story. The project was developed by a small group of indie developers who set their sights on a global game with a large number of available mechanics that make the gameplay as variable and multifaceted as possible. There is support for controlling the main character using a gamepad. The task of the gamer is to try to save the planet from invasion by all possible methods.

A feature of the gameplay is a feature that is called a "simultaneous move". It means that the gamer must think through their movements with each controlled character who is part of the squad, and only then transfer the right to perform movements and attacks to artificial intelligence. Decisions are made at the same time, without the possibility of making adjustments after confirmation. Each individual in a squad differs from the rest in class affiliation. This affects the available skills of soldiers, which need to be combined and look for new combinations for more powerful combos.
