EXAELLA – a three-dimensional side-scroller set in the distant future, which has changed beyond recognition. The story campaign is designed for several hours of gameplay. The game was created by the efforts of a small indie studio, where two developers and an artist responsible for the chosen style of the product and its visualization work. The plot largely repeats and adds new, alternative details to the events of the animated cartoon of the same name.

Human civilization has developed to an incredible level due to technological progress in some spheres of life and an increase in the volume and quality of extraction of useful resources from the bowels of the earth's surface. A long time ago, people came to a dead end, because there was nowhere else to develop, and fossils began to run out, as well as food and clean water. Part of the world's population was sent to a specialized laboratory equipped with cryochambers to put people to sleep. This is a necessary measure in order to reduce the population and give the soil a break from the destructive human influence.

The protagonist is the operator of the Xonax scientific center. The task of the gamer is to ensure the continuous operation of the laboratory to keep the sleeping people alive. The artificial intelligence of the complex will throw tasks for the protagonist, which must be completed. Most of them will include exciting journeys through the expanses of Xonax, as well as puzzles for logic and reaction.
