DYNASTY WARRIORS 7: Xtreme Legends Definitive Edition is an exciting action slasher that takes the best from both games of this genre and Chinese fantasy action. The gameplay consists not only of large-scale battles with crowds of enemies, but also epic one-on-one duels.

The action takes place in the era of the Three Kingdoms, in which the player has to become one of the Chinese knights called upon to bring victory to his own kingdom. The game does not allow the gamer to independently decide which of the characters to go through the storyline. Choosing a kingdom at the initial stage determines several heroes, each of whom will have to complete from one to several missions.

In addition to the classic gameplay of Dynasty Warrior, there are special maps that allow the player to unleash more powerful unique blows, and a new "Conquest" mode, which offers a tactical campaign against the enemy for those who are tired of the usual meat grinder.
